Aftermaths That Take Place During Greek Persian Wars

Wars have predominantly made a massive impact and change to a country. Due to several reasons, countries wage wars with one another and eventually cause havoc to the lives and properties of millions of people. Years ago, there were huge wars which have massively made a mark at our History.

There are many possible means to garner information such as the Internet and printed resources. Among the most famous and mostly remembered war of all times is Greek Persian Wars. Such event has caused major damages to the involved parties. Aftermaths and more consequences occurred that definitely cause uproar and damages to anyone and anything. At the time of Sparta, the Thebes and also Athens decided to cooperate with one another to fight against Persia. This clearly denote that Greeks were united which was never a usual thing to how Greece was viewed. Later, these places gradually soon entered the battle stage to fight amongst themselves. One could argue that such wars have divided Greece and weaken their forces.

Persia, like the Greece, also suffer major consequences mostly on prestige loss of respect and embarrassment. In one of their campaigns, they have acquired damages from both manpower and equipment. Their defeats give a huge realization on their future leaders to cease any move and exploration on Greece. Persians then guarantee that Greeks view them like an equal.

Persians gain foothold in Western Aegean and also on the Europe. In the country of Europe, the Macedonia and the Thrace were places where Persians set their eyes upon. After that, there are still other events which occurred that later make Thracians take back their control and then Macedonians later become independent. Persia eventually sacks Athens because of the support given by Greeks to Ionian rebels.

The Persians were pushed out of Achea. During that era, they were heavily outnumbered by their enemies. This resulted to their major loss and defeat. What actually cause this to happen was because they need to send reinforcements way back home because of rebellions. It was then stated that there are still other infamous events which cause negative aspects on both sides along with neighboring tribes and countries.

Greeks were divided by Delian league. Athens leads together with other parties. In addition to that, Persia give their support just to make sure that the situation would slowly destabilize. Athens were defeated, but Spartans and another individuals, the Thebes encounter war to one another resulting to the loss of Spartans. However, Thebes seem less capable to rule Greece.

The alliance of Greeks have completely annihilated the Persian fleet. Despite some good acts they did to one another, the spoils caused by such war have breed conflict, hatred and other negative emotions. More and more problems arise and significantly destroy them both.

This war has made major damages and destruction to both parties. Good thing that they have reached to finally end this. Even though this takes a long time, everything is finally settled for good.
