There are prominent individuals who made a huge chance to the History of Mankind. Most reasons that make them popular are issues, works, discoveries and inventions to name but a few. These people can either cause a positive or negative changes to our lives.

Some men and women have made a massive impact on our current lives. When it concerns Roger Williams vs Cotton Mather, some individuals might make an intriguing reaction. What do we know about them. Williams was well known clergyman and an advocate of religious freedom. He was also famous as a founder of Rhode Island too. However, his views and concerns about politic caused him to be banished by a particular political Court. He then had lots of other issue in many areas which predominantly made a huge chaos and uproar to his life and remain prominent to this date.

There was a time in which Rhode Island became colony probably due to the influence and power of Williams friends. He had a nice and comfy life that deeply focuses on trading and even farming. And he never caused problems to the people. Roger, during his remaining years, served to war as a captain and he even remained Christian through the rest of his entire life.

Mather was just like with Roger. He, too was a popular clergyman and even a writer. During the year of 1685, he was ordained and served as pastor for the succeeding years until his fathers death and absence. His actions and movement were then prominent that he ended up popular during his times. He actually served a certain government period without giving up on his role as writer.

Although a non believer of trials, he did published books that discussed about satanic possessions and such. Despite this, he still combined mysteries with some hints of science. On his younger years, Cotton highly praised the bravery and heroic acts of Indian captives and a specific author named Mary Rowlandson. It was then that his father create a preface to her.

Williams reputation took a very long time before it finally emerged. During the year of 1702, a Puritan preacher who goes by the surname of Mather made a religious history which portrayed Williams as a dangerous persona and fanatic. From then on, he was considered as a mortal enemy by Puritans. Cotton even wrote a lot of negative things and ideas about such person.

Lots of other significant events occurred that derailed things and cause massive changes for so many years. Both individuals fought for what they think is right. Mather and Roger have fight so hard for their beliefs and political views making them enemy in the long run.
