Good Quality Eyelashes Do Not Have To Cost A Fortune

By Matthew Scott

There are many makeup trends that are right at just about any age but many prefer to go neutral when possible. However, this can be more tricky than the TV ads let on. If a person chooses makeup that is too close to their color, it can look strange or like their features have no definition whatsoever. Sometimes, the best measure is to focus on assets and good quality eyelashes can either enhance or balance any facial structure.

Modern lashes also look natural. At one time, heavy lashes were considered to be sexy but few brands made these believable enough for everyday wear. Then there were those that had to be trimmed so that they did look like they belonged on a regular person. However, this task took a lot of precision and patience.

While the eye makeup could be extreme, it may not be ideal for modern everyday wear. One reason is that there were many steps involved. Most of the time was spent on the lash application, as some wearers of this look would wear as many as three pairs at once and sometimes lower lashes. Add to this heavy liner and contouring for eyeshadow to give the appearance of heavy lids.

For those who are always on the run, lashes that are ready to apply last longer than before. This means no dealing with adhesive or accidents throughout the day. It may be impossible to believe that some women would reapply their lashes because they felt something was not quite right. After application, waiting for the adhesive to dry was the next step that took time and patience.

Some wearers like individual lashes to give a little thickness to regular lashes. While the application can take time to master, many users say it is worth the effort if the natural look is a goal. It is also recommended for most conservative office environments.

As good eyelashes are becoming affordable, these are also easier to apply and will stay on for hours. Although some wearers may prefer a slight enhancement to their own natural lashes, others may choose to go bold for contrast. Sometimes the latter is ideal for night time or at jobs where this look would not be considered too extreme.

Shadows can either blend in with skin tone or be used for shaping or a little color. Dark browns can be used to create a slight cat eye look with a small stroke going outside the eye. Using a color that is slightly darker than skin tone or has a hint of red or pink can gives eyes emphasis without the made up look.

Quality makeup does not have to be expensive. Anyone who studies product reviews online may find that the most popular products sometimes cost a fraction of luxury brands. A little research can save anyone money.
