When you want your house to be designed efficiently, then you might have to talk to your contractor about it. If not, then we are just adding up to our own burdens. If we do not practice closing our doors properly, it will surely reflect in our monthly electricity bills. However, there are also circumstances that we could not avoid. If you have a jalousie window, then you should replace it.

This is not ideal for houses that use centralized air conditioning systems. If so, then you should install sliding glass windows instead. A sliding glass would seal the entire are more efficiently than the jalousies.

The sun would immediately penetrate through the ventilations, causing your car to absorb the hot air. Once you turn off the air conditioner, the temperature would immediately increase. That is why knowing the right materials for your window and its sidings would definitely help you save energy.
