A great way to get over a terrible tragedy is to make sure that you are applying all of the coping mechanisms that you can think of. If there aren't very many that come to mind, then perhaps it is time that you did a little bit of research and looked up more little ways that people have found make it easier to deal with all of the things that a person has to go through living a mortal human life. This is a key way that people are flying high soaring above tragedies of life.

For most situations that are hard to deal with, and it feels impossible to turn your back on the negative emotions that you are feeling, anything that you can do to slow down your reaction to what is happening will be good for you. The reason why this is such an effective technique is that it gives you a chance to calm down and return to your happy state of calm. This is something that everyone should be able to return back to rather than have to find anew every single time, so that definitely makes the whole process a little bit easier.

When you have a lot of close friends, it makes it easy to share your feelings with someone else. Those who aren't so lucky might have a hard time finding someone to talk to. This is why friends are so important.

If you have never considered yourself a very spiritual person, now might be a good time to give that sort of thing a try. The reason why so many people find this helps when trying to get through hard times is that having a higher power to pray to can give you hope when you feel there is none. People have found the need to pray to a higher power since the dawn of man, so there's no reason for humans to stop now.

Something that a lot of people want to try but never feel like they have the time for is meditation. This is something that a lot of people say helps them when they're feeling down. If you do it regularly, you'll be able to maintain a sense of happiness, fulfillment, and calm at all times.

There are many books to read that can be inspiring, and this has helped many people heal when they are going through the toughest of times. Some movies can also have the same effect, so you might want to look for those if you're not a big book-reader. All it takes is the right intention behind the literature.

Just tell yourself that it's going to get better. You might be surprised by how much good it does. It really makes a difference to hear it in your own voice.

Many people have trouble loving themselves. If this is you, it's a good idea to pay careful attention to this subject. It might be hard to learn, but it is well worth it.
