In addition, there are classes that can teach character development and plot creation. As such, anyone interested in writing for film, television or stage might want to consider taking classes whether through Gotham Writers or another similar organization.

Those working in film, stage and television are often working from a script or screenplay. Whereas, individuals working on publishing a book or other project are often writing either fiction or non-fiction. Whatever the case, it often takes a great deal of self-dedication and control to complete a course, program or workshop.
