Legends and even ordinary individuals have created a huge impact on the lives of many people worldwide. Be it a simple person or an expert, what they did can either cause inspiration or an uproar. Still, it cannot be denied that their achievements adversely or positively change our lives.

Many famous personalities was born in the sixteenth period but one man particularly born and lived in Boston, Massachusetts Bay Colony. His parents called him as Cotton Mather. Historians have found out that he previously served as the local Puritan Minister and adviser of Salem witch trials. This was the infamous hearings and executions of people who are strongly believed to performed witchcraft. In regard to his work and achievements, here are some of his famous books.

One of his major books was the almanac called as The Boston Ephemeris. It was written on the year 1686. This was proven to be important since this shows how Mather greatly influenced the world of Mathematics during the Puritan period. This contained an incredible amount of celestial bodies, astronomy along with other things which he personally calculated through the use of his hand.

His second work was named as the Pillars of Salt. It was believed to be his first published sermon printed in the same year as his aforementioned work. Basically, it revolves around the execution of a man named James Morgan, who is convicted for his murder crimes. After thirteen years, Cotton published this together with compilation and other similar works.

The Biblia Americana. When the man died, he left an incredible and memorable legacy that ultimately brings pleasure and excitement to many readers. Studies conducted by experts conclude that he had other unfinished accomplishments. Additionally, he considered his one work of his as one perfect book he had made so far or what we believed as masterpiece. This reflects his thoughts and personal perception about the Bible.

Magnalia Christi Americana. Its deemed as one of his finest works published during the seventeenth century at the age of 38. This book includes the biographies of many particular saints and depicts the possible process of settlement in New England. In total, it might probably have seven books. However, such work of his does not actually refer to canonized saints in most Catholic religion, but to the divines of Puritan.

The Wonders of the Invisible World. This stated the demons that cause turmoil including the infamous trials. As a matter of fact, this tells a lot of things that most of us find intriguing. If some seriously contemplate on all his works, they might think less of it. Although it centers on fantasies and other unimaginable factors, it always has the good ideas and information.

The Christian Philosopher. This is all about the book of science first published in the America. During this time, he had his influence and several inspirations from many people. More than that, he interpreted how religion and even Newton science were in actual harmony.

Cotton still have other works which anyone might find highly interesting. One only have to find the particular book that intrigues him the most. More importantly, know whether you are interested with the content or not.
